Lenovo ThinkBook 16p 2026 — a powerful laptop for creators
Lenovo ThinkBook 16p 2026 It now features a new, more affordable configuration aimed at creators and professionals working in graphic design, video editing, and intensive multitasking. At the heart of the system is an Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card, 32 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD.
The new model has debuted in China (in Lunar Gray) as a more affordable entry-level option in the 16p series—alongside more powerful versions featuring Core Ultra 9 processors. Lenovo has not yet announced plans for global availability, so a Polish launch of this specific configuration has not been confirmed at this time.

Magic Bay and the scalability that others lack
A distinctive feature of the design is Magic Bay — a magnetic pogo-pin connector located at the top of the screen, to which additional modules can be attached: LTE/4G connectivity, a small secondary display, or a speaker module. Importantly, in 2026, Lenovo will open this system to accessories from third-party manufacturers as well, so the list of compatible accessories is expected to grow over time.
The laptop also prioritizes expandability and productivity. You can expand the RAM in two DDR5 slots up to 64 GB, and storage in two M.2 PCIe slots, up to a total of 4 TB. Cooling is handled by a system featuring two fans, copper heat spreaders, and a die-cast aluminum structure; the manufacturer claims support for up to 200 W in high-performance mode, and the entire unit is housed in a metal chassis that meets the MIL-STD-810H standard.
The 251HX configuration has so far debuted only in China, but the same 16p series from this year, featuring the RTX 5060, is already available in Poland in other configurations.
