The AXAGON PCEM2-1U internal adapter allows you to connect an M.2 SSD to a desktop computer via the PCI-Express bus.
The adapter’s thoughtful design and ultra-compact dimensions make it easy to use in a desktop computer that does not have an M.2 slot. The card is also ideal for a 1U rack server and a low-profile cabinet. Its unique design allows it to be used not only in x16 slots, but also in x4 and x8 slots.
The adapter supports M.2 NVMe (PCI-Express) SSDs, both single-sided and double-sided. There is no limit on SSD capacity, and M.2 cards up to 22x80 mm in size can be used. Thanks to the 4-lane PCI-Express 3.0 interface, speeds of up to 8 GBps can be achieved.
Heat-conducting pads and copper ventilation holes help dissipate heat generated during the operation of M.2 SSDs. An LED indicator signals connection and data transfer.
