The AXAGON PCEM2-S internal adapter allows you to connect an M.2 SSD to a desktop computer via the PCI-Express bus.
High-quality construction, compact dimensions, attractive design, and well-thought-out cooling make this adapter the ideal choice for upgrading a desktop computer that does not have an M.2 slot.
The adapter supports the use of single-sided and double-sided M.2 NVMe (PCI-Express) SSDs. The adapter does not limit SSD performance, and M.2 cards up to 22x80 mm in size can be used.
Thanks to the 4-lane PCI-Express 3.0 interface, speeds of up to 8 GBps can be achieved. NVMe SSDs have data transfer rates many times higher than standard SATA SSDs.
An aluminum shroud that acts as a heat sink and the included thermal pads are used to cool M.2 SSDs. The result is an ideal combination of M.2 SSD cooling and heat dissipation.
The LED indicator signals that data is being connected or transmitted in the M.2 slot.
