D-Link DAP-1360 300 Mbit/s
The D-Link DAP-1360 access point is an 802.11n-compliant device that provides faster speeds and greater range than an 802.11g wireless connection in a real-world network environment. Once the DAP-1360 access point is connected to a switch or router, users can share high-speed Internet access with other network users and create a secure wireless network that allows them to share photos, files, music and video recordings, as well as printers and network drives.
High performance
The DAP-1360 device, compliant with the 802.11n standard, is equipped with a 2x2 MIMO (Multiple In Multiple Out) antenna, enabling it to achieve wireless transmission speeds of up to 300 Mb/s and ensuring coverage of the entire network area (without so-called dead spots).
In addition, the use of 2 dBi dipoles has significantly increased the range, making the access point ideal for office environments. Compliant with the 802.11n wireless LAN standard, with a maximum wireless data rate of 300 Mb/s.
7 operating modes
The DAP-1360 device can be configured to operate in any of the following modes:
- wireless access point (AP),
- a wireless distribution system (WDS) with one or more peer-to-peer access points, which makes it easy to create dedicated connections between buildings,
- WDS, WDS + AP, which enables wireless clients to access the WDS link,
- a wireless client, which enables access from an 802.11n network to any device with an Ethernet interface, such as a printer or game console,
- signal booster.

These built-in features ensure the versatility of the DAP-1360, which can meet the requirements of various environments.
Robust security measures
The DAP-1360 device is equipped with WPA/WPA2-PSK (Wi-Fi Protected Access with Pre-Shared Key) data encryption, which has never been cracked as long as the key was strong enough.
User authentication can be implemented using an access point in conjunction with a RADIUS server, which protects against external intrusions. This is made possible by support for the 802.1X protocol. In addition, it is possible to limit the number of users and filter MAC addresses.
Easy to install and use
The D-Link Click'n Connect (DCC) Wizard allows any user, even those without technical experience, to install an access point simply by running the software from the CD included with the product. In a few simple steps, the user follows the on-screen instructions to set up the physical connections (power and network cables) and configure the encryption keys.
