Using a rotary tiller, you can quickly loosen the soil, remove weeds, or thoroughly aerate the soil. It is an invaluable tool for preparing the soil for planting or mixing soil with fertilizer. The rotary tiller has numerous blades mounted on a rotating shaft, designed to cut through and mix the soil. As they spin, they turn the soil over, and thanks to the blades, the soil does not form large clumps.
The DEDRA DED8704 gas-powered tiller is equipped with a 2.7 kW LONCIN engine. Its wide working width (60 cm) allows for fast and efficient operation. The four-stroke engine used in the tiller eliminates the need for a fuel-oil mixture—it runs quieter and produces cleaner exhaust. The machine is equipped with six sets of sharp, hardened blades with a diameter of 270 mm mounted on a rotating shaft; their specially curved shape ensures effective mixing and penetration into the soil. The handle—or “steering wheel”—is securely mounted using a flattened tube bolted with three screws to the machine’s thick steel main frame. A steel protective guard shields the user from stones and other debris thrown up by the blades.
Contoured, ergonomic handles make it easier to control the tiller and improve user comfort. A large wheel located at the front of the tiller makes it easier to transport the machine.
