HÜP consists of a 3-part enclosure. The base plate is mounted in the desired location, ensuring unobstructed operation within the switchgear. Intelligent cable routing facilitates cable installation and securing. The base plate also features a PLC distributor mount and various cable entry options. Two cutouts on the base plate allow for the insertion of 7 mm or 12 mm microtubes. The head holder on the base plate provides space for a splice holder, which can be replaced with any splice holder or heat-shrink sleeve. The space on the base plate and the crimping holder can be used for a through-splicing configuration. The second mounting point includes a versatile splice cassette that holds up to 12 connectors and provides space for 24 fibers. The twelve slots can accommodate up to 12 LC duplex connectors, 12 SC simplex connectors, or 12 E-2000® connectors. The two head holders in the splice cassette are equipped with two clamp-on splice holders, each for twelve fibers. These can be replaced with standard splice holders or heat-shrink holders. The wall-mounted enclosure is secured with a long cover that prevents subscriber access. The cover can also be locked using a built-in cylinder lock. A device for sealing the splice box is located on the side.
