The Extralink CAT5E UTP 24-port patch panel is a modern RJ45 patch panel designed for installation in 19-inch racks. Each panel features cutouts that allow for easy installation of snap-in jacks. The set also includes new labels with icons and plastic handles that can be installed on the front of the panels, making it easier to identify the ports. Additionally, the blank anodized panels can be mounted directly on 19-inch relay enclosures or EIA-standard cabinets, which enhances their functionality.
What are the features of this patch panel? Its design allows for installation in any standard 19" rack or cabinet. It is space-saving and features high 1U density. Constructed of powder-coated black steel with a phosphor bronze tin-plated nickel finish, it ensures durability and an attractive appearance. The product meets or exceeds the requirements of the ANSI/TIA/EIA 568B.2 standard. Users can utilize keystone jacks and keystone inserts to adapt the panel to various cabling schemes. Additionally, a durable aluminum plate surrounding the RJ45 jacks and TIA/EIA 568A and 568B color-coded wiring markings facilitate installation. The panel’s termination allows for the connection of solid-core wires with gauges of 22, 24, and 26 AWG (0.64, 0.5, and 0.4). It is also worth noting that the metal plate is corrosion-resistant, and the plastic used to manufacture the components is self-extinguishing and highly impact-resistant.
