The EMMA 16 Extralink EMMA 16-core fiber optic splice case is a device used at the point where the main fiber optic cable is split into customer cables using PON technology. The enclosure can accommodate splices, splitters, and other installation accessories, ensuring network protection and transparency.
The box features a tightly sealed, aesthetically pleasing design, making it resistant to adverse weather conditions such as moisture, water, and dust. It features mounts for fiber-optic cables and customer cables, and allows for the storage of fiber splices and signal distribution, all in one place.
Cables, pigtails, and patch cords operate independently, eliminating the risk of interference. Installing SC-type adapters in the cassette version is simple and intuitive. The distribution panel can be mounted in a reversed position, and the fiber-optic feed cable can be inserted into the junction box through a sealed opening.
The box enclosure can be mounted on a wall or pole, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. The kit also includes 16 weld covers, each 60 mm long.
