With the launch of the new wireless FRITZ!Fon M2 in Poland, AVM is expanding the FRITZ!Fon series with a new DECT phone for FRITZ!Box devices. The FRITZ!Fon M2 stands out with its elegant design and excellent acoustic properties. A high-quality speaker on the back of the handset delivers top-quality HD sound, even in hands-free mode.
An unquestionable advantage of the FRITZ!Fon M2 phone is its access to popular Internet services and additional features, such as email, Internet radio, RSS feeds, and podcasts. A high-resolution monochrome display, a backlit keypad, and an intuitive menu assist the user during calls, operation, and the use of numerous Internet services.
FRITZ!Box—the perfect partner
With FRITZ!Box models featuring an integrated DECT base station, such as the FRITZ!Box 7490 or FRITZ!Box 7272, the FRITZ!Fon M2 phone gains access to all value-added services and data exchange services. Settings can be conveniently configured via the FRITZ!Box user interface. Voice and audio data, as well as features provided by the FRITZ!Box, are transmitted in an encrypted manner using the high-quality DECT standard.
Eco Mode and numerous additional features
The FRITZ!Fon M2 offers all the popular features. In addition, when used with a FRITZ!Box, it allows you to use multiple voicemail boxes, a clear call history, and phone books with up to 300 entries. Information about incoming calls, voicemail messages, emails, software updates, etc., is indicated on the FRITZ!Fon M2’s display and the MWI key, and is accessible at the touch of a button. When DECT Eco mode is enabled, the base station and handset enter standby mode, completely disabling the DECT wireless connection.
