Gembird CC-DP8K-AOC-5M Black DisplayPort Cable
Active optical cables (AOCs) use fiber-optic technology to transmit a digital video signal. This means that the signal can be transmitted much farther than with a traditional copper cable (up to 100 m) and reduces the risk of EMI/RFI interference. DisplayPort AOC cables also feature dedicated internal copper power lines, so an external power supply is not required.
