Sometimes, a well-positioned player can thwart even the most promising attack. It’s satisfying to roll a “6” time and time again and watch the ball travel the entire length of the field to finally find the back of the opponent’s net. However, as the old soccer saying goes: “The ball is round, and there are two goals.” A lot here will depend on the dice rolls. There’s nothing we can do about it. But this does add a certain level of suspense. My brother—a huge soccer fan—really enjoyed the game. The randomness wasn’t an issue for him. Plus, the matches don’t last too long, and the rounds are quick. When luck isn’t on our side, we can always play a rematch.
