That’s when the PHG 18-45 Battery battery-powered pole hedge trimmer comes in handy—with a reach of up to 4 m (the trimmer’s maximum length is 2.91 m). Without using a ladder, the user can work in an upright position, trimming every part of the hedge to a perfect shape. The clipping collector ensures that clippings fall to the side rather than into the hedge. The adjustable cutting head can be tilted up to 115°, allowing for ergonomic operation in any working position. This also means that the shears can be guided smoothly along the top of the hedge while trimming. The shoulder strap effectively distributes the weight to prevent hand and arm pain during prolonged use. The front section of the blade, with its diamond-ground edge, functions as a saw, so even thicker branches can be cut with ease. The shears also feature a guard to prevent damage to floors, buildings, and the blade itself. Thanks to the built-in hook, you can hang the shears in your garage or shed without taking up much space.
