The BRACKET C wall mount kit is designed for mounting OPAL, OPAL Plus, OPAL Pro, AOD-200, and AOD-210 outdoor detectors. This kit consists of two mounts: a ball mount and an angle mount. The ball mount allows the detector’s tilt angle to be adjusted in two planes: up to 60° vertically and up to 90° horizontally. This makes it easier to find the optimal position relative to the protected area. If the facility requires the detector to be permanently mounted at a 45° angle to the wall, the angled mount can be used. Each mount also features a tamper protection mechanism that triggers if an attempt is made to detach the device from the wall.
The brackets are available in two color options: white BRACKET C, designed for mounting OPAL, OPAL Plus, OPAL Pro, AOD-200, and AOD-210 detectors; and the gray BRACKET C GY—for OPAL GY, OPAL Plus GY, OPAL Pro GY, AOD-200 GY, and AOD-210 GY detectors.
Angle bracket:
- Mounting on a flat surface (rectangular post, wall, or the inside corner where two walls meet)
- Angle of deviation of the detector base from the mounting bracket plane: 45°
- a tamper-evident feature that breaks off when an attempt is made to detach the mount from the wall
Ball mount:
- Mounting on a flat surface (rectangular post, wall)
- Range of adjustment for the angle of the detector base relative to the horizontal mounting plane of the bracket: up to 90° (+/- 45°)
- Range of adjustment for the angle of the detector base relative to the vertical plane of the mounting bracket: up to 60° (+/- 30°)
- Tamper switch that reacts when the handle is detached from the wall, equipped with 3 wires for connecting it to an NC or NO circuit
